The Problem: Every day, children are removed from their homes with little more than the clothing on their backs. We want to work with foster families to enable them to say, “Yes!” We want to help fill a child with hope, dignity, and love as they transition to a new home during a scary time in their lives.
The Solution: The Isaiah 1:17 project provides children with a Bag of Hope, filled with age appropriate, useful and necessary things, in a canvas bag they can keep as their own. It’s a simple solution and a great way for you to help these children who need our help.
About the Isaiah 1:17 Project
We work to ensure that every child going into foster care receives a Bag of Hope, something they can call their own.
We also provide limited scholarships to training events, toys, and support during the holidays, community events, concerts (free to foster families), a natural beauty pageant to engage peer advocacy and support called, “Beauty for Ashes, Kids Helping Kids” and provide opportunities for children to receive bicycles through our Dream Cycles Program, and more!
